NBA Conference FInals
The Conference Finals are here! Four teams left, two teams can only advance and those two will win their conference and move on to the NBA Finals!
Now let’s see how the teams did in the Conference Finals and moved on.
Eastern Conference
#1 Boston Celtics vs #6 Indiana Pacers BOS wins series 4-0
Game One went to overtime by Jaylen Brown tying three. The Celtics won a close one 133-128 in OT, with Jayson Tatum scoring 36 points and Holiday and Brown with 25 plus point game. In Game Two the Celtics won by 16 points with Jaylen Brown leading the team with 40 points and the Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton got injured and was out for game three and four, which played a big effect. Game Three was close with the Celtics 114-111 win, with Jayson Tatum having another 36 point game and the Pacers Andrew Nembhard 32 point game wasn’t enough for the Pacers to win. Game Four was close again with the Celtics closing the series 105-102 with Jaylen Brown scoring 29 points and Tatum’s 26 points. Jaylen Brown won the Larry Bird Eastern Conference trophy and now the Celtics will face the number five seed Dallas Mavericks in the finals starting June 6th.
Western Conference
#2 Minnesota Timberwolves vs #5 Dallas Mavericks DAL wins series 4-1
Game One was very close with the Mavericks winning 108-105 with Luka and Kyrie scoring 30 points each. Game Two was the same situation with the Mavericks winning 109-108, with Luka leading the team in points again with 32 points. In Game Three the Mavericks took a 3-0 which was a shock winning 116-107 with Luka and Kyrie both having 33 points but Anthony Edwards 26 points wasn’t enough for the Timberwolves to win. Game Four was close again but the Timberwolves got their first win in this series, winning 105-100, with Edwards having 29 points and Towns having 25 points. Game Five the Mavericks close out the series by crushing the Timberwolves 124-103 with Luka and Kyrie both having 36 points. Luka Doncic won the Magic Johnson Western Conference trophy and now the Mavericks will face the number one seed Boston Celtics in the finals starting June 6th.
