Jimmy, a Junior at Cranberry High was a highly liked and skilled high school basketball player. Jimmy and his team are at the finals and walking into
those locker rooms they have never felt that rush of fear before. The fear of losing, the fear of walking out on that court and not putting on a performance. Jimmy is the starting point guard which means he’s counted on heavily. Jimmy’s team Cranberry high has lost 3 years in a row in the finals to Jupiter High School. Winning this game will break that losing streak and give them back their dignity along with the championship title. The game is nearing the end and Jimmy is
worried because they are down.
Jimmy has 4 brotherly friends and that’s the starting 5, there’s Jerry the sharpshooter who hasn’t missed a shot yet. Rick the play maker with crazy passes and the court vision of a hawk. Jon Jon the massive center with a 7’ wingspan and relentless rebounds. Sam the lock down defender no one has gotten past. Even though these 5 are talented at basketball there is one school just better than them they have been trying to beat for years, Cherry bomb high. The rivalry is tight and they have been battling for the championship title for years. Jimmy and his friends are warming up for the big game in the locker room making sure their head is on straight for the game. Knowing that they have been through this process of pre-game chills many times the nerves never go numb and then hearing the crowd chanting their team name is a rush.
