Do you want to know how to keep warm this winter while also in fashion? If so, this article is for you. Keeping warm while also maintaining style is probably one of the hardest things a teen can do, let’s see how students at New Hartford Senior High combat this challenge.
“I consider sweats and wide-leg pants way more fashionable in the winter,”Bristol Jasiewicz, a sophomore at New Hartford Senior High, said. “My style only changes minorly. Don’t dress like it’s a fashion show during the winter– the only thing that matters is that you’re warm.”
Is comfortability the only thing that matters? What do others have to say about the topic?
“Leggings and my Ugg minis are probably what I consider most comfortable and my style does change in the winter,” Jaida Austin, a sophomore at New Hartford Senior High, said. “Make sure to smell good especially when wearing heavy clothes and pick an outfit before you go to bed.”
A part of staying in style is being prepared: look good, feel good.
“Leggings, a long sleeve shirt and a cute vest is probably what I’m most comfortable in,” Sophia Cittadino, a sophomore at New Hartford Senior High, claimed. . “My taste changes in winter because new styles surface. I have advice: keep up with styles and keep warm.”
Leggings have reportedly been more popular this winter because of their warmth, but also the shape and dimension they provide; Uggs have also been a huge fad because of their comfortability and popularity with younger age groups.
All three New Hartford Senior High students interviewed said they all feel uncomfortable wearing certain winter clothing inside of school.
“Outside[of school] I’m more comfortable in winter clothes, Sophia said. “Inside it’s a little awkward– I don’t know why.”
Don’t be afraid to stay warm this winter, but most of all stay in style!
