Deklan McCarthy, Staff writer
Deklan McCarthy is a junior at New Hartford Senior High School. He will be writing articles for this paper about clubs within our school, as well as other topics of his interest.
He is secretary of Key club and president of Alternative Energy club. On top of these positions McCarthy is a member of four other clubs including Leadership Core, Model United Nations, Student Council, and Multicultural club.
He is an athlete of our school's cross country and swim teams. Deklan also competes for a local club swim team during the off-season.
McCarthy enjoys staying busy and so he decided to take journalism as a way to fill in some of his free time and learn a skill not many people engage in.
