Mia Jackson is a senior at New Hartford Senior High School. 

      She has an amazingly creative mind and has lots of artistic hobbies, such as drawing, painting, doing nails, and hair/makeup, as well as making bows and clothing for the New Hartford Cheer Team. This is her fourth year on the cheer team, and she has now become captain thanks to her perseverance, good attitude, and funny personality. Outside of school, Mia enjoys spending time with her friends and having a good time. She says she feels free while exploring the wonders of her mind and feels at peace when she is around people, making her perfect for journalism. After her High School Career is over, Mia wishes to go to college after high school to study education and further her career in cheer as well as be an elementary or high school teacher.
